Description
The LifeStraw Peak Series Gravity Water Filter is a portable, high-performance water purification system that removes bacteria, parasites and microplastics as well as viruses from drinking water. This robust 8 litre system has a high flow rate of 30 litres per hour and has a capacity of 18,000 litres - approximately five years of safe drinking water for a family of five. The product is ideal for emergencies and survival situations as well as camping, adventure and international travel. The scope of delivery includes a leak-proof cap, a special backwash syringe and a hanging strap with carabiner for easy hanging and carrying. The system works solely by gravity and requires no pumps, batteries or power sources. Removes viruses, bacteria and parasites: The Ultrafilter membrane protects against viruses (Rotavirus, Hepatitis A), bacteria (including E.coli + Salmonella), parasites (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), microplastics, sand, dirt and turbidity.
