Description
The two-and-a-half-way concept of the GRAND ORCHESTRA enables a homogeneous dispersion behaviour with high sensitivity at the same time. In addition, the impedance is optimised over the entire frequency range. The rearward sloping baffle, the offset Air Motion Transformer (AMT) and the carefully tuned crossover ensure improved timing, precise instrument location and a spacious stage. The AMT's optimised wave guide prevents sound wave interference and edge diffraction, resulting in a wide and even dispersion pattern. The cabinet, made of high-density fibreboard (HDF), avoids parallel walls - except at the cabinet sides. The material and design thus reduce standing waves and prevent cabinet resonance. A slim floorstanding speaker that also harmonises well with smaller amplifiers and tubes.
